The NICT International Exchange Program is designed to contribute to technological advancement and human resources development as well as to promote research and development by facilitating international exchange of Japanese and foreign researchers in the field of advanced telecommunications and broadcasting technology.

Foreign Researcher Invitation Program
Under this program, NICT will support domestic organizations that wish to invite a foreign researcher to conduct research and development in the field of advanced telecommunications and broadcasting technology. NICT will cover the costs of inviting the foreign researchers.

International Conference Support Program
NICT supports to hold international conferences on advanced telecommunications and broadcasting technologies in Japan by taking a part of the role of conference organizer.
Such legal entities as universities, academic society, private research institute etc., hosting the conferences can apply for the program.
