Japan Trust International Research Cooperation Program supports international cooperation of private research institutes in conducting R&D in fundamental technology of telecommunications and broadcasting by inviting foreign-based researchers to Japan.
The program covers travel and living expenses of the foreign-based researchers to participate in the collaborative R&D in Japan.
The supports are funded by Japan Trust, a charitable trust founded in 1985, having financial basis on donation of benefactors, and NICT is its operating agency.
