Research
In order to contribute for realization of the ubiquitous society by stressing the research and development, we will promote three technology fields which are "New Generation Network Architecture Technology", "Universal Communications Basic Technology" and "ICT for Safety and Security".
We will aim to realize the technology which is basis of the photonics and advanced wireless network, and the next generation network technology merged with them, an initiative information communications technology, etc. and the technology to be basis of the advanced network society.
We will aim to realize the super-feeling of live communications as if we were there by handling freely necessary information and contents regardless language and culture, where anyone does not notice the network.
We will aim to realize the electromagnetic environmental basis which secures the network itself and safety & reliability from the living space to the space, obtains environmental information & utilization and is secure for highly accurate space-time & frequency standard to be basis of all information communications technologies, the equipment & system for information communications and the human body.
