Four micro-satellites launched together with JAXA ALOS-2 satellite were successful.

Micro-satellite "SOCRATES", which embarks a compact laser communication terminal called Small Optical TrAnsponder (SOTA) developed by NICT, has been successfully launched into space, riding together with JAXA ALOS-2 satellite.
