Project Introduction

In this project, we aim to develop a scalable and distributed IoT framework for a hydroponic greenhouse in order to increase hydroponic production with the following requirements: low cost, scalability, distributed, high performance and practical usage. This 3-layer framework (data collection and control, management and data analysis) consists of the following components:
  1. End-to-end IoT-based infrastructure, integrated with a mobile robot (optional)
  2. Transparent management component
  3. Cloud, Fog Computing and APIs
  4. Data Analysis
