Developing photonics and specific peptides platform towards point-of-care screening for cholangiocarcinoma diagnosis in Lao PDR
Project Introduction
This is a proof-of-concept study aimed at developing a novel diagnostic platform by integrating cutting-edge technologies, including surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectroscopy, peptidomics, and silicon photonic sensors, for the detection of early biomarkers in serum. The initiative is being carried out by an international collaborative team and is considered a meaningful project toward future social implementation.
There is potential for the advancement of ground-breaking demonstrations leading to healthcare and wellbeing in areas where photonics technology and medical applications are combined, and both the development and implementation systems are credible.
