NICT helped arrange IFCS-EFTF 2023
The 2023 Joint Conference of the IEEE International Frequency Control Symposium and the European Frequency and Time Forum took place in Toyama, Japan during May 15 to 19. An international audience of close to 400 attended, while another 90 participated virtually.

Tetsuya Ido, director of NICT's Space-Time Standards Laboratory was elected as one of the two General Chairs, while NICT members Nils Nemitz, Hiromi Nezu, and Nozomi Ohtsubo supported the preparation and execution of the conference as the Chairs of the Local Organizing Committee.
It was our pleasure and honor to bring this key conference in the field of time and frequency metrology to Japan for the first time. If you had the opportunity to participate, we hope that we succeeded in making the conference an informative and enjoyable event!
