Research Cooperation

In order to strengthen NICT’s international presence and promote a world-class standard of research, it is important to work together with top research institutions overseas and also create an internationally open research environment. For this purpose, NICT enters Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) as a basis for joint research, information exchange, joint events, researcher invitation and other activities in collaboration with overseas institutions.

As of March 2026, NICT has MOUs with 75 institutes from 22 different countries and regions worldwide.
