Steering Committee Meeting, November 2024
A steering committee meeting was held at Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, after the ASEAN IVO Forum 2024, which took place at the same location. The meeting was held on the evening of Thursday, November 7 (chaired by Executive Vice President Yano, co-chaired by Dr. Cheab Sovuthy).
After reviewing the forum and the project reports, the secretariat (NICT) summarized the results of a discussion via email on how to improve the project evaluation method in the future, and the steering committee approved a new method. In addition, the secretariat made a proposal on the possibility of collaboration between ASEAN IVO and the ASEAN Committee for Science, Technology and Innovation. Many were the opinion that it would take time and procedures to reach an agreement with the ASEAN Secretariat, and it was decided that further adjustments should be made.
